Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. She was born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be spelled by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, and received great reviews from music blogs as well as from the press. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded to accompany an ad campaign for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway by her, has given it some more recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not as an income or as a pastime however, as a chance to develop. She began to write writing her own songs. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as being her influences. After her mother said that the songs she wrote were not meant to gain fame for her but instead to inspire individuals to recognize their own value and impact in the world, she started playing them on stage. When she was six She began playing the piano and at nine was writing music. Family members didn't even be aware of this until she turned fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. Aurora claims she loves writing songs. She believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
